Penetrant Testing (PT) is a highly sensitive method for detecting surface discontinuities not visible to the human eye. It can be used on wide range of materials at low cost. Portable equipment allows the inspector to test on complex shapes at hard to reach locations or remote field. PT can be applied to cover 100% of the surface of parts by immersion.
Dexon PT training covers the theoretical aspects of this technique as well as providing practical demonstrations and hands-on experience time for students by highly experienced NDT technicians. Penetrant Testing training courses satisfy the training hours needed for Level I/II certification in accordance with ASNT standards and practices (SNT-TC-1A).
