At Beyond Partnership 2025, hosted by long-time partner BLCP Power, Dexon Technology joined over 100 industry leaders to celebrate 11 years of collaboration.

There were handshakes, the swapping of business cards, and hors d'oeuvres, but the event was also a platform to share real innovation.  Sakpolchet Kanchanaphiwat, our Innovation Operations Manager, spoke on drone inspections—and the increasing obsolescence of climbing up scaffolds or dangling from towers.

Thanks to drones, we are now:

  • Slashing downtime and inspection costs

  • Eliminating high-risk work at heights and in tight spaces

  • Capturing detailed data: high-resolution visuals, thermal imaging, thickness readings — all without costly shutdowns

As Sakpolchet put it, "Done technology is not just safer. It has reinvigorated our culture of excellence. Once teams see what’s possible, they start demanding better and pushing to optimize, aided by this incredible technology."

Dexon and BLCP have been co-developing inspection technologies to push the envelope and bring greater safety and performance.

The results:

  • Major cuts in inspection time and cost — no more halting production just to build scaffolding

  • Safer teams — less need for risky climbs or confined-space entry

  • Richer data — visual, thermal, geolocation, and remaining wall thickness in one sweep

  • Sharper skills and higher confidence — across both DEXON and BLCP inspection crews

Sakpolchet also outlined how Safety Culture must be a culture, permeating every aspect of our conduct.

That Safety Culture is built on:

  • Cultivating shared understanding of safety as a core value

  • Providing necessary resources, such as personal protective equipment

  • Maintaining continuous, organization-wide safety communication

  • Opening channels for employees to share feedback and propose solutions

  • Using case study data and ongoing training to enhance safety measures

Dexon, in partnership with numerous other companies, is reshaping how the industry thinks about safety and performance from the ground up—or, in this case, from the air down.
