Dexon TechnologyDexon Mechanical Solutions (DMS) has sent a team of senior mechanical engineers to Norway for an intensive two-week training program with IZOMAX, focused on Add-On Gate Valve (AOGV) technology.
Replacing a spool is often extremely costly due to the constraints of working undersea.
To address this, engineers developed single clamps to reinforce compromised parts of the line, but these cannot be attached to cover larger distances of the line.
The AOGV is a groundbreaking modular clamp that enables operators to connect multiple clamps to cover and seal the pipeline. Once installed, these devices can be seamlessly connected and repaired as the line changes.
Following recent training, DMS’s engineers are now ready to deploy, for the first time, AOGV technology in Southeast Asia.
Our first target: Thailand’s offshore platforms, aiming for zero downtime and world-class mechanical isolation. )
Training covered:
• Core theory and design principles of the AOGV system, including pressure calculations
• Hands-on installation of Isolation Spades under high-pressure conditions
• HSE standards for high-risk industrial environments
• Real-world troubleshooting and emergency management
• Post-installation maintenance and quality assurance

• Thai engineers will receive AOGV certification from IZOMAX
