The WHA Group granted Dexon Technology an award for the company’s efforts to reduce carbon and support a greener business landscape.
Dexon's efforts were part of the broader WeCYCLE Project, an eco-initiative organized by WHA Group in collaboration with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC), SCG Packaging (SCGP), and BSGF Co., Ltd.
The project aims to advance sustainable resource management through the Bio-Circular-Green Economy Model, promoting recycling and upcycling of waste and used materials within the industrial sector.
Dexon’s participation marks another step forward in creating a a circular economy within the organization and industry.
In this case, employees collected and donated used plastics for recycling.
Between all 119 participating companies, the project reduced 243 tons of CO₂.
That is equivalent to:
Planting approximately 11,045 trees to full maturity, or
Reducing car usage by more than 968,127 kilometers.
